Dissenting Voice
/ The Process
The brief for this project was to create a poster emphasising a dissenting voice. In response to the emerging pandemic I chose a quote that gave me hope for the future “We are less lost now than when we were comfortable” by Courtney E. Martin (January 2020). Talking about how we are now “uncomfortable” and are more likely to want to change our present situation for the better.
My concept was to make this poster hard to see as if we were still “lost”. However whilst viewing this poster the quote will gradually be revealed. Echoing the meaning of the quote. I conveyed this with a focus on typography and colour.

/ Final Outcome
My final plan was to have multiple posters repeated together in different colours so that the commuters walking past would eventually piece the posters together and see the final quote.
