LetterBox: Digital Communication Guide

/ The Process

This was a project I made in collaboration with my coursemate Rossilyn Baker. This was an answer to The Creative Conscience Award 2021 brief: “How can you use your creative skills to aid those with mental health issues?”. We decided to address and help to battle loneliness amongst the elderly population during COVID-19.
Our solution was to create a pack called LetterBox: Digital Communication Guide. This would provide information on how to contact their friends and family through digital communication.
Our concept was to make this project as accessible as possible. Starting with it being available online and through the option of posting a manual through their door. Furthermore, using elderly friendly design, such as contrasting colours and clear typography.

/ Final Outcome

Our collaboration worked well, and together we created the branding Identity. Then we separated, I designed the print, and Rossilyn designed the digital. Throughout this process, we were meeting up and helping each other with our designs. Once we had got to the final stages, we swapped over and refined each other’s designs.
